Balaho was the name of the Grunt homeworld.
It was a terrestrial planet with significant amount of methane within the atmosphere which prevents much of the surface from being seen from orbit. Those parts that are not covered by polar ice caps or fresh water are brackish tidal flats where there exists naturally occurring pillars of fire.
The world was still recovering from a pre-activation environmental collapse caused by massive global industrilization.
