Announced by Bungie at MLG San Diego on June 14 , 2008,[1] Cold Storage is a Halo 3 remake of the Halo: Combat Evolved map Chill Out.
Bungie has not made an official statement online about the level yet. It was shown in an exhibition game between Bungie members, Lukems and Shishka and MLG Pros, Karma and Legend[2] which served as the map's debut. No release date or other details have been given out yet.

Trivia
- The Hologram in the center almost looks like Cortana, and the yellow tube is speculated to be Master Chief's Cryotube...
- Cold Storage could be a reference to Master Chief freezing himself in Cryo-Tube as the FUD heads towards an unknown planet.
