The Yappening is the seventh multiplayer event in Halo Infinite, held during Season 02: Lone Wolves. It began on September 6, 2022, and it will last two weeks, until September 20. A blog post was posted on Halo Waypoint by Flipflop, one of Yapyap's disciples, who's now working with the UNSC. The Yappening is focused on the Methane Menagerie playlist, consisted of several unique gametypes:[1]

Event tiersEdit
The Yappening event came with a 10-Tier Event Pass with exclusive customization options. Players could progress through the Event Pass and unlock items by completing any of the ten event challenges over the two weeks the event was available.
