A [[Dropship 77-Troop Carrier|D77-TC Pelican-class Dropship]] assigned to the [[UNSC Destroyer|Destroyer]]; "[[UNSC Armageddon's Edge]].<ref>[[Halo: The Cole Protocol]] page 25</ref>The pliot's name was Jeffries. When Keyes meets Jeffries he comments at how the [[Petty Officer]] looks but Jeffries let's it slide off with the remark ''doesn't have to drop solders off in hot zones.'' Jeffries suprises Keyes with the way he drives the Pelican with skill. Keyes request that Jeffries be transfered to [[UNSC Light Frigate Midsummer Night]]. After being trsnsfered to [[Midsummer Night]] it was raiding a civilian carrier [[Finnegan's_Wake]] for navigation data. Jeffries was sent with [[Keyes]] and ODST platoon commander [[Canfield]], with a group of [[ODST]]. Turn out to be an Insurrectionist ship that was rigged with bombs. Jeffries pelican was destroyed with a hole in it. He was pulled out to be treated by a ODST.

Gamma 054 was a D77-TC Pelican dropship assigned to the destroyer UNSC Armageddon's Edge. It was piloted by Petty Officer Jeffries.[1]

Operational History[edit]

After Lieutenant Jacob Keyes requested that Jeffries and his Pelican be transferred to the light frigate UNSC Midsummer Night, Jeffries transported Keyes, ODST platoon commander First Lieutenant Canfield, and a platoon of ODSTs to the civilian freighter Finnegan's Wake. Finnegan's Wake was soon revealed to be an insurrectionist ship that was rigged with bombs.

Gamma 054 was destroyed, but Jeffries managed to survive. He was later killed when his new Pelican was shot down by an insurrectionist RPG during an attempt to extract Lieutenant Keyes.[2]
