Template:City New Phoenix is one of the largest metropolitan areas of Arizona, a state in the United Republic of North America on Earth.
History
Battle of Earth
- Main article: Battle of Earth (2557)
In a swift attack on Earth's orbital and territorial defenses, the Didact was able to position the Composer in a high geosynchronous orbit above the desert city on an early July 2557 morning. The Composer was finally activated and its entire population, likely numbering in the hundreds of thousands, were each converted into a "digital intelligence" and their bodies reduced to ash. Quarantine procedures were still enforced up to six months after the holocaust; the United Earth Government released a statement soon after that the attack was not of Covenant origin. [1] New Phoenix's infrastructure remained completely unscathed by the Composer's merciless attack.
Trivia
