With the typical ODST bravado, the 105th likely took many of their Unggoy attackers with them. It is unknown if any Human survived in the battle between the Unggoy.

*At first glances, people thought that they were slaughtered by manageable numbers of [[Grunts]], leading some players and fans to think that they were implied to be a poor example of a platoon. But in reality, the 105th Platoon was simply overwhelmed by sheer numbers.

The 105th Drop Jet Platoon was a platoon of Orbital Drop Shock Troopers in the UNSC Marine Corps.[1][Note 1]

Operational history[edit]

Battle of Jericho VII[edit]

The 105th Drop Jet Platoon saw action against the Covenant military ground forces during the Battle of Jericho VII in February 2535 where it was overrun and obliterated by a force of around a thousand Unggoy. The unit's annihilation would later be avenged when the offending Unggoy were eliminated by SPARTAN-IIs, led by Master Chief Petty Officer John-117, in the continued skirmishes of Jericho VII.[1]
