Origin
The state of Vadam was named after its founder who was said to have been imprisoned by his enemies only to escape, then to grow strong and return with a mighty army. He successfully defeated those who had imprisoned and laughed at him. The shocking aspect of the story that truly shows how the Sangheili live and think, is that Vadam killed all of those that had been imprisoned, much like him, and had not killed themselves with honor, for being "useless".
