Template:Planet

Sedra is a distant human Outer Colony planet. A majority of the planet's colonists hold disdain for the Unified Earth Government.[1]

History

At some point after the Battle of Installation 04, an Office of Naval Intelligence unit, led by Jameson Locke, traveled to the world to investigate terrorist activity. However, while on the planet, the unit was caught in a horrific terrorist attack. To survive, the ONI unit was forced to work together with a Sedran commander, Randall Aiken.[1] While on Sedra, the unit discovered an alien artifact.[2] During this time, a fragment of Installation 04, that attempted to escape its destruction at the hands of John-117, exited slipspace over the planet.[3]

Government and society

Sedra is a relatively poor colony, with most of its industries based on agriculture and industrial manufacturing. The colony has little political significance within the Unified Earth Government. During the Human-Covenant War, the citizens of Sedra felt abaondoned by the United Nations Space Command. Although Sedran colonists held resentment to the UNSC, they still continued to heavily rely on them. The colony is protected by the "Colonial Guard", led by Randall Aiken.[2]
