Machine Pistol

This machine pistol is a personal defense weapon in use after the Human-Covenant War. Sometime after the Battle of Draetheus V, this machine pistol was used by the SPARTAN-IVs aboard the UNSC Infinity for simulations against the Flood.[1]
Gameplay
Tactics
- The machine pistols are most effective against Pod infectors.
- Make sure you are some distance away from approaching enemies. Not only does this allow the pistols to be effective, but distance allows you to escape when swarmed.
- Avoid using the machine pistols on other Flood forms, since they do little damage.
Production notes
Despite not appearing in the game, the HUD icons for the machine pistol exist in the files of Halo: Spartan Strike, likely just a holdover from the first game. As with all HUD elements in Spartan Strike, these icons take on a slight green tinge when compared to Spartan Assault.[2]
