It is primarily outfitted on the M808 Scorpion as an onboard anti-infantry weapon.[1] The standard M808 model uses a pintle-mounted M247T with a dedicated operator's compartment near the front of the vehicle. On the M808B variant, the weapon is instead mounted coaxially to the right of the main gun turret. The latter mounting configuration is shared with the M850 Grizzly.
