The "water form"

The "Water Form" is a Flood organism encountered by a Covenant special operations team in the Threshold gas mine. They were sealed in a tank of liquid in the research area of the facility, and were likely stored by the Forerunners for research.[1][2]

Appearance

The Water Form is similar in appearance to the Infection Form seen throughout the Halo Series.

Trivia

  • Bungie jokingly referred to this form as a "Flood Sea Monkey" in a Halo 2 memorial article.
  • During the game's development, Vic DeLeon "broke" the Water Forms, making them float all around the room.
