Description

The Anti-Vehicle Barrier is a wall of blue/purple energy used to stop vehicles and weapons, much like a shield door, except on a larger scale. It bears a resemblance to a deployable cover and the generator is the same as the Halo 3 Anti-Vehicle Barrier. Used by the Covenant, it was first seen in use on Harvest[1] and on the Tsavo Highway, to prevent UNSC forces from reaching Voi.[2]

Trivia

  • It's only effective in halting vehicles and projectiles: a soldier on foot can traverse it harmlessly.
  • It can be taken down by a Wraith shot if you hit it in a specific spot.
  • The generator is very weak. It can, and should be taken down by melee.
  • How this barrier work is uncertain. If it blocks a certain kind of metal, it should also block Spartans.
  • It may be fue to the weight of the vehicles
