— Ilsa Zane

The New Colonial Alliance is an Insurrectionist group founded by UNSC Admiral Mattius Drake some time prior to 2553.

History

UNSC Infinity

Elements of the NCA led by SPARTAN-IV defector Ilsa Zane infiltrated the UNSC Infinity disguised as construction personnel and captured most of the bridge crew, using them as hostages, and securing the ship's bridge in the hopes of capturing the prototype UNSC flagship, threatening to vent the ship and kill everyone aboard it. The attempt was foiled by Spartan forces remaining aboard the Infinity who regained control, and the Insurrectionist personnel were vented into space or captured. The personnel captured revealed Admiral Drake as an Insurrectionist leader.[1]

Ealen IV

In 2558, a captain called Daniel Clayton joined to the NCA and allied himself with the Shipmaster Vata 'Gajat. Clayton informed 'Gajat about the negotiations attempts between the Sangheili and Jiralhanae in Ealen IV. His alliance foiled the negotiations.[2]
