Template:New Content Template:Character Infobox Staff Sergeant Malcolm Geffen, also known as Mal, is a Orbital Drop Shock Trooper in the UNSC Marine Corps. In January 2553, he and fellow ODST Vasily Beloi were hand-picked by the Office of Naval Intelligence to serve under Captain Serin Osman during a diplomatic mission to Sanghelios. They also participated in a covert operation to board a Covenant ship and capture a Huragok. At one point during their travels, they came across the survivors from Onyx's internal micro Dyson sphere.[1]
