Kevin met Jan at James James' funeral. When he found out about Durga and that Jan was a Spartan 1.1 too, he offered Jan a space on his volunteer group of 1.1s who wanted to take the fight to the Covenant. [1]
Trivia
- When he was 9-years-old, he conned his way into the cockpit of a commercial shuttle and presumably flew around a bit. However, the story changed to him flying a Pelican and doing a strafing run when he was 7 by the time the story got to Gilly.[2]
