Health pack

On the battlefield, Marines and even Spartans need to have health packs, or MedKits, available. Each MedKit contains small stores of Biofoam (see below), a stitch kit, Polypseudomorphine, self-adhering antiseptic battle dressings, and other useful field dressing components. These are the main sources of first-aid in the field when a physician or medic is not avaliable.
Health Packs are standard aboard many UNSC ships. Health packs are often seen on corridor walls at regular intervals. There are also two health packs located in a Pelican. Both of them are on each side of the door to the cockpit. They seem to be more rectangular in shape and are innaccessible to the player.
The healthpacks are only present in Halo: Combat Evolved. In Halo 2, health regenerates with an integrated Biofoam dispenser.
