Commander-in-Chief of the Office of Naval Intelligence

The Commander-in-Chief of the Office of Naval Intelligence (or CINCONI) is the formal title of the director of the Office of Naval Intelligence. Though militarily subordinate to the Chief of Naval Operations, the CINCONI is often politically equal if not more powerful than the CNO, actually having a seat on the UNSC Security Committee by 2558. During the Insurrection and the Human-Covenant War, Admiral Margaret Parangosky held the position of CINCONI. She was eventually succeeded by her protege, Admiral Serin Osman
