This article is about the MJOLNIR [GEN2] armor. For the Powered exoskeleton, see HRUNTING Mark III Cyclops.

CYCLOPS-class Mjolnir is a variant of the MJOLNIR [GEN2] armor designed for urban combat.[3]

Design

A product of Imbrium Machine Complex's secretive Io Design Lab,[1] Cyclops armor is designed for combat in urban environments, using intrusion software to connect to both UEG and Covenant urban infrastructure networks, levering their hardware and databases to augment its own network of emplaced sensors, drones, and tacnet links.[3] Small superconducting loops spaced throughout the Cyclops subassemblies and a more powerful fusion power pack give a substantial edge in fights that make use of tactical packages. A stripped-down version of the Cyclops' power system is being tested for use as a backpack-carried energy source for UNSC directed energy weapons.[1]

In 2555, the armor was tested at Anvil Station.

In-game information

Halo 5: Guardians

Unlock: Uncommon REQ card

  • Helmet description: CYCLOPS suits are urban predators, created to hunt in dense urban and industrial environments. The UNSC Infinity's increased engagement on rebellious human colonies and Covenant worlds present ideal testing grounds.
  • Body description: The CYCLOPS can parasitically connect to both UEG and Covenant urban infrastructure networks, levering their hardware and databases to augment its own network of emplaced sensors, drones, and tacnet links.

Trivia

In an early Halo Online build, before the Halo Online Closed Alpha started, the BASTION-class Mjolnir set was called this.
