This event happened about 100,000 years before 2552, before the rest of the Covenant races had evolved enough to become sentient.

Covenant history

The Age of Abandonment was the first Age in the Covenant Age system.[1][2]

Overview[edit]

In the ceremonial Progression of the Ages, this age was represented by an obsidian stone.[1]
