Support weapon

Support Weapons are a class of weapons exclusive to Halo 3.

These weapons are much larger than the standard handleld weapons, and require two hands to heft. consequentally, players move more slowly while holding them, and cannot throw grenades or melee opponents while holding the weapons. However, they can be stored on a player's back when not in use.

Support weapons are generally weapons that were originally designed to be stationary or mounted but have been ripped off of their bases and caried around. Thus they have a limited amount of ammunition as long as they are free of their mounts.
