Biography
Lingual Reconstruction
On July 12, 2556 Melody worked alongside the artificial intelligence construct, Adalbert, to translate recorded conversations found within the black-box of the Covenant CCS-class battlecruiser, Undiminished Entelechy. The black-box had been recovered by Fireteam Apollo as part of Operation: SHELL GAME.[1]
Envoy
At some point either in July of 2558 or later that year, Melody arrived at Carrow, a planet in a Joint Occupation Zone occupied by both human colonists and Sangheili settlers. In the wake of infighting that erupted between the species, Melody attempted to broker a piece deal between them. At the same time, she was cooperating with the Office of Naval Intelligence on a covert assignment wherein she would attempt to free Spartan-II Gray Team, held in stasis on the planet since being captured at the end of the Human-Covenant War by a cunning Sangheili fleetmaster.[2]
Personality and traits
Melody is able to understand and translate Sangheili.
