The MA5 Series[1] is a weapon series used during the Human-Covenant War. All MA5s are Bullpup-style weapons, with the magazine, bolt, and firing pin located behind the trigger. They are often the bread and butter of the UNSCDF forces.
The MA5 series was preceded by the MA3 Assault Rifle, though it is unknown if any other models were in use between the UNSC's dropping of the MA3[2] and its adoption of the MA5.
The weapon's design is similar to the real life FN F2000.
