N.B.: This rank has not yet been mentioned in the Halo Universe.
Captain is a junior commissioned officer rank of the UNSC Marine Corps, equal in rank to Lieutenant in the UNSC Navy.
Captains generally command Company-sized units (62 to 190 Soldiers), assisted by a non-commissioned officer.
The Marine Corps rank of Captain is ranked three pay grades lower than a Navy Captain, and has no special command authority with respect to a ship.
