Infinity is the fourth campaign level of Halo 4. Completing the mission on any difficulty grants the player the Infinity achievement, while completing the level with no preventable Marine deaths on Heroic difficulty or harder unlocks the Bros to the Close achievement.[1]
In the level, John-117 must rally scattered survivors from the UNSC Infinity, which has crashed on Requiem, whilst fighting Promethean and Storm forces. Eventually, the Master Chief must escort the survivors to the Infinity, where he meets up with Commander Thomas Lasky, Commander Palmer, and Captain Del Rio. At one point, the player controls a Mantis fighting vehicle in a makeshift airfield on the Infinity.[2]
