Fist of the Unicorn was a band made up of crewmen from the UNSC Pillar of Autumn in 2552.

History[edit]

Notice of an encore performance scheduled for "Saturday 1600 hours" in the ship's main hangar was placed on the ship's bulletin board.^[1] The band featured Specialist Van Kalletta on "lead guitarz" as well as replacement drummer PFC Dimitrov.

At some-point in their music career, alongside Ship It Pictures they were involved in the production of the movie 117: Heroes Never Die.

Trivia[edit]

The numbers 0117 appear to be incorporated into the band's logo on the poster, partially obscured by Dimitrov's name.
As the poster can be seen when the Pillar of Autumn arrives at Installation 04 on Tuesday September 19th, the performance would have been scheduled for Saturday the 23rd.
The band is part of 343 Industries' running unicorn gag, which was referenced again in Halo 4 with the FOTUS armor.
In the Halo 2: Anniversary campaign level Outskirts, there are posters on several walls advertising a Fist of the Unicorn cover band called "Fluke of the Narwal".
