*It is impossible to save the Pelican at the beginning of the level. Even if the player manages to kill the Flood Swarms attacking it, it will take scripted damage and be destroyed.
*It is possible to keep Anders for the entire mission. Simply keep her away from the rescue beacon. The timer will sit at 00:00 for the duration of the level. Red team will not spawn and the Scarab cutscene will not play and it will sit inert at it's starting position, however the Flood tentacles will not spawn. Upon capturing the fourth base the mission will end as usual despite Anders still being in the field. She can repair any ground vehicles in gameplay and will use an M6 sidearm to attack.
