The UNSC Gorgon was an United Nations Space Command Frigate.

Ensign William Lovell served aboard the Gorgon for four years. The vessel was part of Vice Admiral Preston Cole's fleet around and after 2525. Its fate is currently unknown.

Trivia

• The vessel was named after the Gorgons of Greek mythology.
• The Gorgon (Frigate), may in fact be the same ship as the UNSC Destroyer of the same name. By comparison to destroyers of the Human-Covenant War those of the Insurrection-era were lightly armed and armored; the Gorgon may have been reclassified as a frigate as it became obsolete as a destroyer.
