It is mainly composed of a chorus remembering the prophets sing or a gregorian chorus, but a good ear will ear some less noticeable background instruments.

Trivia

• This piece is approximately 1 minute and 17 seconds long = 117. This could be a reference to Spartan-117.
• It is a remake of the Halo: Combat Evolved song "The Maw" for the level of the same name.
• It's virtually identical to another song from the Halo 2 Original Soundtrack, Ghosts of Reach. However, Ghosts of Reach goes on longer than Remembrance, and once it passes the point where Remembrance finishes, a completely different tempo is added. This section of the song is from part of the Mombasa Suite, Broken Gates.
• The song is the same length as Prepare to Drop and Rock Anthem for Saving the World.
