Peril is the third track in Halo 2: Original Soundtrack, Volume 1.

The music was based on Perilous Journey from the Halo: Combat Evolved soundtrack, hence the name.[1] The music is centered around use of strings, and provides a tense atmosphere during sporadic combat sequences.

The piece was reorchestrated into Jeopardy in the Halo 2: Anniversary Original Soundtrack.
