Hanging Gardens A[1] is a Covenant natural environment module on the orbital city High Charity.

During the first hours of the Civil War of the Covenant, both the Covenant Separatists and the Covenant Loyalists tried to take the gardens. Spec Ops Elites and Grunts dueled with Brutes for control of the garden. Later on, two Rangers came to assist the Separatist cause. In the events of the Halo 2 campaign level Gravemind, SPARTAN-117 slew them all.

The area, although fairly small, is rather complicated. There are two hills on each side, and only one way to get to them. It can be extremely hard to find, especially the level is somewhat dimmed. In addition, there is a Jackal Sniper on the immediate right.[2]

It can be assumed that the Hanging Gardens were destroyed when the Flood invaded High Charity, or if not, it is almost certain that they were destroyed along with the rest of High Charity at the end of the Human-Covenant War.
