Halo: Evolutions

Halo: Evolutions - Essential Tales of the Halo Universe is a newly announced story collection set from Tor Books.

Like the Halo Graphic Novel, Evolutions features stories by a variety of writers, including Eric Nylund, Tobias Buckell, Karen Traviss, Robert McLees, and many other critically acclaimed authors.

It is set to be released on November 24th, 2009.  Halo: Evolutions is recognized to have short stories which act like stepping stones to the Halo Trilogy, written by Greg Bear, in 2010.  The book will also explore foggy corners and faces of the Halo Universe, solving any curiosity.
