Second Lieutenant Dalu was a veteran ODST stationed on the UNSC Pillar of Autumn in September 2552.
Biography
His commander was First Lieutenant Melissa McKay, and he headed one of her platoons. When the vessel was attacked over Installation 04, he, along with the rest of his men, made the jump to the surface aboard a Human Entry Vehicle. (While this was not said in the book, it can be reasonably inferred, as all of the ODSTs used HEVs to go to the surface of the Alpha Halo.)
During the raid on the Truth and Reconciliation, he was in charge of gathering enemy weapons and technology for research.[1]
Dalu was a commanding officer at Alpha Base and oversaw supply numbers, Shade Turret placement around the base, and combat.
