Benjamin Giraud is a journalist and a war photographer, who for a time worked as a civilian contractor for ONI's section two in the city of Mombasa. During the Battle of Mombasa, he witnessed Master Chief "saving humanity" which led him to do a series of interviews about the life and history of John-117 years after the Human-Covenant War. [1]
