Biography
One of her notable students was Preston Cole. When Cole was 14 years old he submitted a paper to Miss Alexander entitled "The Viability of Extended Colonization." The teacher gave him a "B" overall; "B" on his thesis, and "C" for his conclusions, stating that the paper contained too much speculation.
