M20 PDW

The M20 Submachine Gun is the post-Covenant war successor to the M7 SMG.

The M20 SMG is issued to vehicle crews, security personnel, and Spartans who expect close-quarters combat.

Gameplay

Changes from M7 SMG in Halo 2: Anniversary

• Features a 2x zoom telescopic reflex sight (similar to the M7S)
• Ejects shell casings
• The magazine is now on the top, similar to the real-life Fabrique National P90 PDW
• More damage per round, takes 13-15 shots to kill a fully shielded Spartan
• Headshots now deal bonus damage on unshielded targets but not enough to instantly kill them
• Maximum ammo doubled, from 180 to 360
