343 Guilty Spark (level)

Summary
A campaign level in Halo: Combat Evolved. This is the first time we see the Flood. It is also the first level you'll use the shotgun. Compared to the previous levels, this level is very dark, dank, and creepy, and if this is your first time playing, you'll find yourself becoming very jumpy as you go, unless you've got nerves of steel. The first chapter of the level is set in a rainforest, and the second chapter, "The Flood" is set in the main Alpha Halo Flood containment centre. There is a Covenant guard protecting the complex that are massacred once the Flood are unleashed, and some survivors of the Marine force that accidentaly released the Flood by opening the door the Covenant worked hard to close down. All members of the advance party of Marines became Flood including Private Mendoza and Private First Class Wallace Jenkins. The Master Chief goes in the complex to meet the Flood and has to fight his way out. Eventually the Master Chief comes out of the complex. The Master Chief and several other UNSC soldiers are running towards a tower structure where Foehammer can evacuate them while fighting off the Flood. However, several Sentinels are found at the tower, also in combat with the Flood. The Master Chief and the Sentinels fend off several waves of the Flood before the Master Chief is teleported to the top of the tower, where he interacts with 343 Guilty Spark. 343 Guilty Spark calls the Master Chief a Reclaimer. 343 Guilty Spark then teleports himself and the Master Chief into the Library, which starts the next level.
