Valley of Tears A[1] was a Covenant environmental module on the orbital city High Charity.
During the first hours of the Civil War of the Covenant, the Sangheilis and their allies took this exposed location, stationing Melekgolos and Unggoyss in the center while posting Sangheili Honor Guards on the perimeter. Shortly afterwards, the Covenant Loyalists sought to retake the Valley of Tears A, sending forth Jiralharnaes and Kig-Yar Snipers. SPARTAN-117 killed them all in the events of the campaign level Gravemind.
