343 Industries is a Microsoft Game Studios internal-build team established to create new properties for the Halo series.^[1]^[2]

The team's name is a reference to 343 Guilty Spark, the Forerunner Monitor of Installation 04.
On November 30th, 2010, a rumor surfaced that claims 343 Industries is developing a remake of Halo: Combat Evolved.^[11]
Possible screenshots of "Halo: Nemesis", a game possibly being made by 343 Industries, were leaked sometime in the 4th quarter of 2010. At the time it is unknown if the screenshots are fake or of a real game being made by 343.
