The Surface-to-Air Missile Launcher[1], abbreviated as the SAM Site and colloquially known as the "Big Ass Mortar Gun"[2] or the "B.A.M.G.", is a ground-based missile emplacement in use by the United Nations Space Command.
Description
The Surface-to-Air Missile Launcher is a large three-barreled mortar emplacement. It is featured in the Halo 3 multiplayer level High Ground and the Campaign level The Storm.It was thought by some players to be a large motar device that can fire on upcoming attackers. It was proven false by bungie which stated it was unusable and is only scenery.
