Kwassass was a Covenant Grunt stationed on the Covenant Supercarrier Sublime Transcendence in 2552. He was in charge of the maintenance on Subdeck K.
After The Battle of Reach, the Sublime Transcendence extracted all the mining equipment from Reach after the Covenant tried to excavate CASTLE Base. The equipment was then put into Subdeck K, and it was Kwassass' responsibility to repair and refit it.
Months later, as the ship was over Joyous Exultation with the rest of the Combined Fleet of Righteous Purpose, Kwassass discovered a NOVA bomb that had been taken aboard along with the rest of the equipment by the Engineers for study. The control panel for it had become deattached, so he managed to activate it's pre-recorded threat from Admiral Whitcomb without any harm to the ship...just before he managed to understand Whitcomb's threatening speech, the Engineers aboard the sub-deck took the panel and forcibly reattached it, activating the Nova bomb and destroying the Sublime Transcendence and the rest of the fleet at Joyous Exultation.
