Template talk:AI infobox

Add section[edit]

Well, I'm not to great at coding, so could someone add a AI Srvice Number section to the infobox? --Caboose File:Caboose.jpg|35 px]] Orange Juice and Cookies 16:51, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

Okay, I got it to work in the sandbox, so how do I get it to work here?--Caboose File:Caboose.jpg|35 px]] Orange Juice and Cookies 17:11, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

Serial numbers[edit]

I suggest that a serial number field be added to the template. We know the serial numbers of quite a few AIs, including Cortana, Serina, and Auntie Dot: the latter two were revealed in The Essential Visual Guide. Any thoughts? --Courage never dies. 10:43, 30 July 2011 (EDT)

Gender[edit]

I think it is quite unnecessary to have a gender field for an artificial entity since |description field already fulfills that purpose. — subtank 06:58, 9 October 2013 (EDT)

Depends. For instance, Black-Box is "described" as a featureless cube, yet is considered masculine. Also, the template starts to look untidy if the description field gets too crowded, which is often the case. --Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 09:39, 9 October 2013 (EDT)
I see your point. I don't understand why there is a need for gender for an artificial entity but I digress. *shrugs* — subtank 11:18, 9 October 2013 (EDT)
Why not call it Gender Bias or something that's not specifically 'gender' since it's an impossible quality for an AI. -ScaleMaster117 (talk) 12:21, 9 October 2013 (EDT)
It depends on how you define the word - in this context, I think it can be easily understood as the gender identity the AI prefers to project as part of its chosen persona (which they almost invariably do - the only truly "genderless" AIs featured in Halo so far, I think, are Mendicant and Offensive Bias), rather than in a biological sense. --Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 12:34, 9 October 2013 (EDT)
