Special dialogue Grunt

There are several instances of Special Dialogue Grunts to be found on the Halo series that have special monologues which appear in the form of easter eggs. None of these Grunts will (or can) fight you, and will die like normal Grunts if you shoot or melee them.
Halo: Combat Evolved
- Main article: Thirsty Grunt
The Thirsty Grunt at the end of the level The Maw, you will come to a large jump. If you leave your Warthog and walk to the end of a nearby tunnel.
Halo 2
- Main article: Cowardly Grunt
In the level Uprising the Cowardly Grunt can be found hiding in a corner near two Grunt corpses.
Halo 3
- Main article: Final Grunt
The Final Grunt is at the end of the level Halo, located to the right of the UNSC Forward Unto Dawn behind the end of a bridge of rock that you drive under.
Halo: Reach
- Main article: Dreaming Grunt
The Dreaming Grunt is an Easter Egg featured in Halo: Reach. The only known place to find this egg is in the level Nightfall, and go up to the place where the Grunts are sleeping.
