It is mainly composed of a chorus, but has some less-noticable background instruments. It plays during the level Regret (Level), when Spartan-117 is going through the underwater-transportation.

Trivia

• This piece is approzimately 1 minute and 17 seconds long = 117. This could be a reference to Spartan-117.
• It is a remake of the Halo: Combat Evolved song "The Maw" for the level of the same name.
• It's virtually identical to another song from the Halo 2 Original Soundtrack, Ghosts of Reach. However, Ghosts of Reach goes on longer than Remembrance, and once it passes the point where Remembrance finishes, a completely deifferent tempo is added.
