Out of Shadow is a song included in the Halo 3: Original Soundtrack. It includes the tracks Out of Shadow and Into Light, and plays during the levels Tsavo Highway and The Ark.

The track begins with a slow choir and string melody, which is then joined by a percussion rhythm at around 0:33. At 1:20, the choir and double bass take on the theme from Broken Gates/Encounter, from the Mombasa Suite in Halo 2. Electric guitar and drums later join in at 1:45, and the track continues until 2:50. For the rest of the piece, the main melody is played on an electrical/synth sound, similar to that heard in Infiltrate and We're Done Here earlier in the Soundtrack.

It runs for 4 minutes and 37 seconds.
