The 0th Sonin System is the star that the Brute home world Doisac orbits, the third in distance from it, with two unknown planets orbiting it. This system is the Brute's homeworld and from 2554 it is the homeworld and capital of the Brute Alliance. The main planet, Doisac, is the capital planet but more planets (such as the moons of Doisac) in the system have been inhabited, with technological interventions. This system holds the main council and is therefore extremely significant to the Brutes.

The Oth Sonin system (designated CE-75-2113 by the Forerunners[1]) is a planetary system and has at least three orbiting planets, including the Jiralhanae homeworld of Doisac.[2] The star that Oth Lodon orbits is the closest star to Oth Sonin.[3] In 2559, vicious resistance by local Jiralhanae forces to the rise of the Created led Cortana to conduct the Razing of Oth Sonin - entailing the complete obliteration of Doisac via the use of several Guardian Custodes.[4]

In Jiralhanae speech, the phrase "What in Sonin?" is used to exclaim shock or disbelief.[5]
