Orbit of Glass is the fourteenth track of Halo 2: Original Soundtrack, Volume 1. The piece was incorporated into the ending of Opening Volley in Sacred Icon Suite from Volume 2.
The piece is a re-interpretation of Ambient Wonder from Halo: Original Soundtrack. It is most likely named for the "orbit of glass" that occurs after the Covenant glass a planet.
The music can be heard during the level Sacred Icon after Thel 'Vadamee drops through the last sets of pistons to shut down the containment shield at the Sentinel wall.
The piece was re-orchestrated into the second part of Prophet Suite in Halo 2: Anniversary Original Soundtrack.
