High Gathering: Difference between revisions

From Halopedia, the Halo wiki

(That is a misread of the text, as the text explicitly described the High Kaidons being too focused on themselves and doesn't described their own views on the management of other threats. 'Vadam is concerned of other threats to the Sangheili while the High Kaidons are focused on themselves. Individual words cannot be taken in isolation, but taken with the broader passage in mind. This subject has also been put forward to the rest of the Halopedia team for their input to this article.)

The High Gathering is a meeting between various Sangheili officials that has at least taken place once in late 2559, three days after the Razing of Oth Sonin. The meeting included the high kaidons of several Sangheili colonies as well as Arbiter and Swords of Sanghelios leader Thel 'Vadam.[1]

History

At the meeting, 'Vadam proposed the Concert of Worlds to the other officials, hoping to further unify the Sangheili. No agreements between any of the officials could be made at the meeting, with 'Vadam suspecting that many of High Kaidons were content with Created rule.[2] After the meeting, 'Vadam was frustrated by the rejection and lack of progress and suspected the High Kaidons trusted the Created to protect their holdings against the threat of the Jiralhanae, Kig-Yar, mercenaries, and even vestiges of the San'Shyuum.[1]
