Template:Vehicle Infobox The Flame Warthog, or Flamehog,[1] is a variant of the M12 Warthog that features a mounted flamethrower.

Design details

Main article: M12B Warthog

The Flame Warthog replaced the standard autocannon mount on LRV Warthog models with a white-burning flamethrower.[1] The Flame Warthog is slightly tougher than the standard Warthog model.[2]

Veteran Flame Hog variant

Some upgraded and slightly more expensive variants of the Flame Warthog replace the mounted flamethrower with a mounted incendiary grenade launcher, and further upgraded armor.[2]

Frost Hog variant

Instead of the the tanks being full of Napalm, they are full of super cooled fluids. After the gunner freezes the enemies solid, the Warthog will shatter the enemies by ramming it, or a Friendly Frost Raven will shatter the enemy with Concussion or Seismic Missiles.[3]

Operational history

Flame Warthogs were deployed against Banished forces on Installation 00 by Lt. Colonel Morgan Kinsano in 2559. In order to combat aircraft, passengers were armed with M41 rocket launchers.[4]
