Template:Book Info Halo: Helljumper is a five-part series of comics, chronicling the stories of a squad from the 105th ODST Division of UNSC Marine Shock Troopers ^[1]. A brief cameo of John-117 will be featured in Helljumper, shortly before he was promoted to Master Chief Petty Officer ^[2].

The series is currently planned to be released beginning with Issue 1 on July 22, 2009. The series is noted to wrap up in the fall, and will serve as an official prequel to Halo 3: ODST.
The series will be written by Peter David with art by Eric Nguyen.
