• Halo-343 - Halo-343 has always been a user who works at Halopedia nearly everyday. We all know him. He's considered as one of the most active users in this wiki. Along with this, he displays an amazing skill at english but would annoy others with his intelligence. I don't mind. We all don't mind. Becuase although others may see him as an unmatched editer, he still considers himself as a normal user just like the rest of us. He is a good friend. He has determination. And he is willing to share his Halo knowledge with even those who are new fans of the universe. Though just as a note to others, while constant good editing is a great attribute to have, remember that there are others more deserving of a HotM award over someone like myself and others who have earned it before and even more than once. I do agree with all Durandal supporters that the quality of his edits is very good. I would like to vote for him, but this contest is supposed to award the best contributor (in terms of both quantity and quality) for this month and only. Durandal has had a lot of nominations since March, and this fact by itself indicates that this user has been editing sporadically since then. This does not downgrade the quality of his edits. But a user who came around recently and showed great potential and activity would deserve the HotM more than a "standard value" like Durandal. There are other ways to show your appreciation on Durandal's edits, like user-created awards, public congratulations and many more that I have not come up with yet. - JEA13 ^[iTalk] 15:26, August 10, 2010 (UTC)

On the contrary, "Halopedian in the Month" has never served to highlight the edit of a single editor over a lone month. More than a culmination of one's contributions over a season or even a career on Halopedia in some cases. Hope that helps you! User:CommanderTony/Sig
